Here’s my review of McDonald’s new Iced Coffee. Lately, I’ve been hearing raves about their new iced coffee and had to give it a try. It comes in the following coffee blends – regular, vanilla, hazelnut. The price is $1.89 for the medium and $2.19 for the large. To give it a try, I went to my nearby McDonald’s and picked up an Iced Coffee Hazelnut. It looked like this:
As I drove by the first menu pit stop, I kindly asked the cashier for an “Iced Coffee – Iced to Perfection”, as it read on advertisement while my friend laughed. I then stopped by window #2 to pay. I watched the server grab the plastic cup and pour some coffee into the cup. Then went to the 2nd machine where she pumped some white, creamery substance into the mix. I wasn’t too pleased seeing that that the 2nd ingredient came from a pump but once took a sip of the new drink, I completely forgot how it was made. My first impression of the drink was that it tasted a lot like Starbucks’ frappuccino bottled mixes you find at the grocery store. For the price, you can’t go wrong with this drink.
McDonalds now has advantage over Starbucks for 3 reasons:
1. good taste
2. cheaper price
3. McDonalds restaurants everywhere with drive-thrus.
