I have the g1 tmobile just sent me the code to unlock it but I don't have a att sim card how can I still unlock it an will my cell still work right with tmobile sim in it thank you.

The iPhone OS is NOT Linux based, it is a smaller version of OS X (Mach kernel) and is based on BSD. Also tmobile doesn’t have wap.voicestream.com apn-it’s epc.tmobile.com now. I had the G1 with tzones and got a message asking to upgrade to get my data services working again. Tzones may work for a day or so, but it’s temporary. Also-if you ever deactivate tzones, you can never get it back. The only loophole is if you had it before (grandfathered), but like I said the G1 won’t work with tzones for long. Once it’s gone, you HAVE to get web2go.

if you call tmobile we will not add the 5.99 tzone plan to your account when you are using a g1. 5.99 tzones is not ment for the g1 and it will not work with internet like real internet. also the g1 doesnt have tzones on the phone. if you lock yourself out of your g1 and need to do a master reset you will need the g1 data feature to put the google info back in the phone. this is to much of a hassle for g1 users and if you only wanted to use the phone to make and recieve calls and text then get a regular phone.
